Opinion: Build v borrow v buy: should advertisers actually own their adtech?

Opinion piece around the benefits of advertisers investing in their own adtech stack. Platforms are getting a little more open in terms of custom integrations, but in general big tech platforms cater to the most common use cases and the least edge cases. It only makes sense for open-minded advertisers to invest in their own adtech stack.
